Before we were known as 'Rescript', our humble beginnings took root in the form of 'Bunpai' (derived from the word 'distribution' in Japanese).

Sensing an opportunity in the corporate gifting space, we sought to explore and curated gifting options for companies like Infosys, SAP and EY. This is when we realized that both organizations and individuals were on the lookout for sustainable alternatives to stationery.

Eventually, the niggling thoughts of the environment and the possible opportunities slowly grew into a desire of doing more than just corporate gifting – pioneering recycled stationery in India. That's when Rescript was born. Fast forward to the present, and Rescript is now a recognizable brand around the country. Not only are we redefining the way people perceive copier paper, student notebooks, journals and other stationery, but we're also changing the narrative around corporate gifting.

By developing a product that could perform just as well as regular (virgin) paper without the environmental cost, we have been able to disrupt the very rationale behind why someone might want to purchase and use virgin paper. While we’re on our way to achieving our goals of saving water, and trees and helping people lower their overall carbon footprint, we’re aware that this is just the beginning. Recycled paper and stationery are only the first steps that will allow us to #RescriptTheFuture.
