The name Noupelle is a portmanteau of the words ‘nouvelle’ which means new and ‘pelle’ that means skin/leather, pelle is both a material and a metaphor.   We wish to redefine what ‘new’ means to us, we believe in renewing and reforming a previously used material and giving it a brand new identity and each product a new skin.

We create upcycled leather accessory pieces, using leather off-cuts. All of the pieces are handcrafted by traditional leather artisans who have been practising the craft over generations.
